Dr. Michael Hoffmann
Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Hoffmann graduated from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario, in 2005, which is one of six accredited full-time, post-graduate, four-year naturopathic medical schools in North America. Graduates are educated in the same basic sciences as M.D.’s, including natural therapeutics and non-toxic approaches to therapy with an emphasis on disease prevention and optimizing wellness.

Dr. Hoffmann obtained his Bachelor of Science degree at the Canadian University College in Lacombe, Alberta, majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. He has been active in sports since childhood, playing competitive soccer through university and suffering several injuries through the process. This has energized his interested in sports medicine, chronic pain and pain management.

Dr. Hoffmann is a licensed member of the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta, board certified with the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and a member of the Naturopathic Academy of Therapeutic Injections, which is a specialty society recognized by the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians dealing with chronic pain and pain management. Thus, he is trained in Myofacial Trigger Point Injection, Neural Therapy, Regional Anesthesia, Mesotherapy, and Regenerative Injection Therapy (aka. Prolotherapy). Dr. Hoffmann was also trained in Intravenous (IV) Therapy, Ozone Therapy and Prolozone by Dr. Frank Shallenberger, M.D., a pioneer in Ozone Therapies.

Dr. Hoffmann loves the challenge of supporting his patients as they develop new health habits and integrate them into their lifestyles. His goal is to empower people to make healthy choices about their inherent self-healing process and thus encourage optimal health and satisfaction in daily living at every stage of life.
